Herbert E. Seymour

Herbert E. Seymour, age 92 of Ashville, OH passed away at Chillicothe VA Medical Center on Saturday, May 13, 2017.  Herb was born in Columbus, OH to the late Harley and Lilly (Ward) Seymour on June 30, 1924.  Herb was a graduate of Ashville Harrison High School and served in the U.S. Navy with ROTC attending Ohio State University during WWII.  Herb retired out of the Columbus Pipefitters Union working    in the construction business. He attended Village Chapel Church in Ashville and a member of Rick Brown VFW in South Bloomfield. 

Herb was preceded in death by first wife, Sonia A. Seymour in 2005 and a son, James Seymour. 

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Norris; sons, John (Janice) Seymour of Ashville, Michael (Beth) Seymour of Columbus and Jeffrey (Debra) Seymour of Kingston; 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Herb requested cremation to take place and a graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Pees officiating at Harrison Twp.
