Jerome W. Grant

     Jerome W. Grant, age 86, of Circleville, OH passed away Wed. Feb. 8, 2017 at Pickaway Manor Nursing Home, Circleville, OH. He was born March 27, 1930 in Marengo, IN to the late Manford and Opal (Sloan) Grant.

     Jerome was a 1948 graduate of Marengo High School, IN and a veteran of the Korean War serving in U.S. Army and was employed at B.F. Goodrich in Louisville, KY until he retired.

     He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Joyce (Green) Grant in 2012 and a brother Norman Grant.  He is survived by daughter, Debra (Jim) Wellman of Circleville; grandsons, Matthew Freeman of South Bend, IN and Levi (Morgan) Freeman of Circleville; a great grandson, Isaac; brothers Allen Grant of Indiana and Pat (Julia) Grant of Florida; a sister, Betsy Barton of Indiana; Brother-in-law Bud (Marcella) Green of Wheelersburg, OH and sister-in-law Betty (Bob) Pierson of Marengo, IN and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Jerome wished for cremation to take place.  A memorial service officiated by Rev. David Henson will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at 12 noon with family receiving friends at 11:00 a.m. at Circle of Light Worship Center, 2146 No. Court St. Circleville, OH 43113.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to:  Circle of Light, 2146 No. Court St. Circleville, OH 43113 for Food Truck Ministry or Heidelberg United Church of Christ,    11185 Main St. Stoutsville, OH  43154 for Free Store.
