Miriam D (Smith) Catron

Miriam D. Catron, age 79 of Circleville, OH passed away on Wed. Dec. 20, 2017 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.  She was born on Oct. 3, 1938 to the late Chester and Ruth (Jones) Smith                                    in Scioto County, Ohio.   Miriam was a member for over 20 years at the Ashville CCCU and a previous Sunday School teacher and member at First CCCU in Circleville.

Along with parents, Miriam is preceded in death by brothers Kenneth and Carl Smith. 

Miriam is survived by loving husband of 62 years Floyd C. Catron; children Connie (John) Tracy of Grove City, Ron Catron of Grove City, Linda Frush of Circleville, Eddy (Cindy) Catron of Chillicothe, Jeff (Melodie) Catron of Ashville and Derek (Amy) Catron of Scott City, KS; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sisters Shirley Widdig, Karen (Mike) Cosgrove and Brenda (Steve) Fields; numerous nieces and nephews and beloved pets Coco, Pippa and Tobi. 

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tues. Dec. 26, 2017 with Pastor Don Blankenship at Ashville CCCU, 420 Long St. Ashville, OH 43103 with visitation with family from 11:00-1:00 prior to service. Interment will follow at Harrison Twp. Cemetery in South Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.  Online condolences at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
