Carol McDonald

Carol McDonald, age 76 of Circleville, OH passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tues. Feb. 20, 2018.  She was born on October 14, 1941 in Circleville, OH to the late Claude Robinson and Margaret Marie (Malone) Coontz.  Carol attended Teays Valley High School and  worked at LeMays Truck Stop, Shadeville and also French’s Potato Factory in Shelly, ID and Nonpariel Potato Factory in Blackfoot, ID.   

Carol was also preceded in death by husbands George Williams Sr. and Jason McDonald; a son George Allen Williams Jr.;  grandson George Allen Williams III; stepfather Walter Coontz; sisters Florence Burgett and  Susan Woodrow; brothers Tom Robinson, David and Walter Phillip Coontz.

Carol is survived by children Debbie (Mike) Dille of Circleville, Samuel M. Sr. (Brinda) Williams of Laurelville, Helen Manby of Circleville, Connie (Robert) Keith of New Mexico, Sheila Thomas, Frank Attenweiler, Edgar Paxton of ID and Kevin Altenweiler of OR; sister Margaret (Bob) Rizer of ID and 36 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. with funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Curt Combs officiating at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery in Circleville, OH.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.  Online condolences at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
