Cloa (Cox) Shelton

Cloa  Shelton, age 74 of South Bloomfield, OH passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at home.  She was born to the late William F. and Thelma (Burchett) Cox on March 9, 1944 in Crockett, KY.  She loved her flowers, enjoyed her crafts, decorating her house and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Cloa attended Ashville CCCU.

Along with parents, Cloa is preceded in death by brothers Roy, James and Ray.    

Cloa is survived by husband of 55 years Gary L. Shelton; children Raymond (Carla) Shelton of Charleston, WV, Joseph (Denise) Shelton of So. Bloomfield and Jonda (William) Haycook of Grove City; brother Willis “Pib” Cox of W. Liberty, KY; grandchildren Joshua Hinty, Cari Casdorph, Ashley Shelton, Ericka (Nathan) Thompson, Gary Andrew Price, Emalee Haycook, Jason Haycook, Miranda Fogus, Devin Glanders (Brittney Plantinga); great grandchildren Caiden Davis, Nevaeh King and Ella Glanders; also a host of nieces and nephews.   

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thurs. April 12, 2018 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 and 1 hour prior to the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 with Pastor Don Blankenship officiating at Ashville Church of Christ in Christian Union, 420 Long St. Ashville.  Interment will follow at Harrison Twp.
