Ernest Edward Robinson

Ernest Edward Robinson age 77 passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 in Circleville, OH.  Ernest was born on Dec. 21, 1940 in Hocking County, Ohio to the late Clyde and Frieda (Lively) Robinson.  He was a carpenter for Local Union 200 for 30 plus years.  He enjoyed drag racing, Nascar, basketball, football, horseshoes, corn hole and using his carpenter talent and skills to build things.  More than anything he truly loved his family. 

Besides his parents, Ernest is also preceded in death by sisers Karen Louise Robinson, Shirley Robinson, Eleanor Betts and brother Paul Crago.

Survived by loving wife of 31 years Rose M. (Murphy); children Kim Welch, Bryan (Polly) Robinson, Karla Perry (Steve Shumaker), Shawn (Angie) Robinson and Gavin (Jennifer) Robinson; brother and sisters Alice Dillie, Charlotte (Leroy) Graham, Robert (Sharon) Robinson and Mary Murphy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Doug (Susy) Murphy; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friend Lee Butterbaugh.

Visitation will be on Thurs. Aug. 9th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Funeral Service on Fri. Aug. 10th at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Floral Hills in Circleville.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to:  Pickaway-Ross Joint JVSV, Carpentry Program, 895 Crouse Chapel Rd.
