Jean Lowe Hoffner

Jean Lowe Hoffner, age 80 formerly of Ashville passed away on Wed. Nov. 15, 2017 at Price Rd. Health and Rehab. in Newark, OH.  Jean was born on Jan. 26, 1937 to the late Dennis Francis and Alice (Cyr) Durand in Old Town, Maine.  Jean was retired from Big Lots and was a past manager at Louise Terrace.  Her love for Christ was very important and evident as she taught Sunday School and was also Song Service Leader for many years at The First Baptist Church in Ashville.

Along with her parents, Jean is preceded in death by husbands Franklin Lowe, Earl Hoffner and a daughter Cynthia Freeman.

Jean is survived by children Steven (Carolyn) Lowe of Newark, Amy (Rick) Brown, Diane Tincher, both of Stoutsville, Brenda (Randy) Edmonds of NC and Michael (Tammy) Lowe of GA; grandchildren Mariyah, Mikayla, Bobbie, Joshua, Heath, Devin, Becky, Nicholas, Jessie, Jenna, Sarah, Michael and Frank and several great grandchildren.  Jean also had siblings including Constance and Anita.                                                  

Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Wed. Nov. 22, 2017 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Pastor Bill Danielson officiating with Interment following at Floral Hills, Circleville, OH.  Visitation with family will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tues.
