Kenneth Lee "Rug" Roberts

Kenneth   Lee “Rug”  Roberts age 63 of Clarksville, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Jan. 25, 2019 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati.  He was born Oct. 25, 1955 in Washington, C.H. to the late Richard and Darlene (Higgins) Roberts.  Kenneth was a graduate of Circleville High School, Class of 1974.  Retired from Kings Island where he took care of the steam engine locomotives. He was also a former maintenance supervisor at Caesars Creek Flea Market.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Joan; brothers, Alfred, Richard, and Millard.  Survived by his beloved Noni Wood; daughter Katie Roberts of Lebanon, OH; sister Katherine Boyer of Englewood, FL.; granddaughter Mabel Marie; grandsons Chance and Cole Richards and many nieces, nephews and friends.  Ken loved spending time with his family and especially the grandchildren and his buddy Farley, his corgi.  He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his big smiles and always had a story to share.

A Funeral Service will be  at 11:00 a.m. on Thurs. Jan 31, 2019 in the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH with Pastor Debbie Kaylor officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, So. Bloomfield.   The family will receive friends on Wed. from 4-8 p.m. and 1 hr. prior the service Thurs.  Immediately following the Graveside Service, family and friends are invited for a luncheon and to share memories  at Rick Brown VFW 3301  Northup Ave. South Bloomfield.   If desired in memory of Kenneth donations may be made to Clinton/Warren EMS, P.O.
