Mary Kathleen (Katie) (Walters) Reid

Mary Kathleen (Katie) Reid, age 98 of New Albany, OH passed away on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 peacefully at her daughter’s home.  Katie was born on April 28, 1920 to the late Frank and Margaret (McFarland) Walters in Lancaster, OH.  Katie was a member of Church of the Resurrection Roman Catholic Church in New Albany. 

Katie is preceded in death by husband Karl Reid Jr.in 2005.  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Linda Reid-Teele and John Teele; sister Ann Farrell; nieces and nephew; Bev and Chuck Mateson, Carolyn and Ted Highley, Marti and Chuck Redmond, Jeff and Donna Salisbury; many beloved great nieces and nephews; special friends and neighbors Terry and Sylvie Potts. 

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thurs. Nov. 1, 2018 at Reber Hill Cemetery in Ashville, OH.  A Memorial Mass Service will be held on Tues. Nov. 20th, 2018 at The Church of the Resurrection in the Our Lady of Resurrection Chapel, 6300 East Dublin-Granville Rd. New Albany, OH 43054-8597.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:  Mount Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd.
