Rev. Kenneth L. Fuller

The Rev. Kenneth L. Fuller, age 87 of Ashville, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 12, 2017.  He was born August 4, 1930 to the late Carl and Florence Fuller.  Kenneth was preceded in death by son Michael; brothers Russell, David, Danny and Jerry; sisters Garnell Phifer, Deloris Pennington, and Carmin Watson.  Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy; children Tim (Karen) and Debra Anthony; grandchildren Stephanie Peace (Jason), Emily Opp (Robby), and Joseph Fuller; great-grandchildren Parker, Lily, and R.J. Peace.  He is also survived by brother Carl Jr. and sisters Beverly Boivin, Florence Langley, and Barbara Nabb.

Kenneth devoted his life to God and was a retired minister in the Churches of Christ in Christian Union.  During his over 60 year ministry he faithfully served congregations including churches in Circleville, Chillicothe, Ashville, Springfield, and Lockbourne.  He graduated from what is now Ohio Christian University formerly Circleville Bible College.  He was a much loved man and a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Kenneth had a warmth and kindness that touched all who knew him.  He touched the lives of so many and rarely was there a day he didn't make a difference in someone's life.  His life was one of service and dedication to Christ.  His family and friends will miss his smile and humor and most of all his huge and positive presence in their lives.  Kenneth enjoyed life immensely especially spending time with his family.  He liked playing golf and following the OSU Buckeyes both basketball and football, and attended so many of his grandchildren's activities.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tues. at the Circleville First Church of Christ in Christian Union, 436 East Ohio St. Circleville where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wed. Aug. 16, 2017 with Pastor Don Blankenship officiating.  

Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, So. Bloomfield.  In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Ashville Church CCU 420 Long St. Ashville 43103. Online condolences to olivercheekfuneralhome.com
