Steven L Ross

Steven L. Ross, 71 of Ashville, OH passed away at home on Sunday, August 26, 2018.  Steven was born on May 27, 1947 to the late McKinley B. and Laura Mae (Wolf) Ross in Columbus, OH.  Steven was a graduate of Teays Valley High School Class of 1965.  Steven was a proud veteran of Vietnam serving in the US Army 1966-1968 and was a member of AMVETS 2256, Rick Brown Memorial VFW Post 7941, American Legion 134 and Circleville VFW 1096.  He was retired from ODOT Pickaway County.

Along with his parents, Steven is preceded in death by an infant son Steven Ross II. 

Steven is survived by a son who he was very proud of, Andrew M. (Megan) Ross of Ashville; a brother Ted (Kim) Ross of Somerset, OH; sisters Judy Campbell of Lockbourne and Janet McNeal of Ashville; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Thurs. Aug. 30th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Funeral Service on Fri. Aug. 31st at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplain Michael Roese officiating.  Interment and a Military Service by AMVETS 2256 will follow at Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations by made to:  Rick Brown VFW Post 7941, 3301 Northup Ave. South Bloomfield, OH 43103.  Online condolences at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
