William "Bill" F. Eden

William “Bill” F. Eden, 77, of Ashville passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH. Bill was born on November 13, 1940 to the late Clarence and Luella Eden in Point Pleasant, WV. Bill was a 1958 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Roadway Express after 25 years.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife Dena L. (Fisher) Eden in 2011, infant brother Kenneth Eden, as well as two sisters and their husbands Ann (James) Compton and Verda (Chuck) Smith.

Bill is survived by daughter Angie (Travis) Pennington of Ashville; grandchildren Preston and Grace Pennington and brother Clarence (Marge) Eden.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30th and one hour prior to service at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 31st at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.  Interment and AMVETS service will be at Reber Hill Cemetery, Winchester Rd. Ashville.
