William (Bill) J. Wallace

William (Bill) J. Wallace, age 94 of South Bloomfield, OH passed away on Wed. Aug. 2, 2017 at Pickaway Manor in Circleville, OH.  Bill was born to the late Edmond and Essie (Tackett) Wallace on Aug. 16, 1922 in Perry County, OH.  

Bill was a graduate of Moxahala  High School in Perry County and served during WWII in the U.S. Army.  He retired from Rockwell International in Columbus, OH.  Bill and his wife attended Crossroads Church in Circleville as well as Ashville CCCU and Lockbourne CCCU in previous years and he played piano at various CCCU’s around the Central Ohio area. 

Along with parents, Bill was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Jo Walls; twin brother Howard Wallace and brother Paul Wallace.

Bill is survived by wife of 36 years, Shirley L. (Dumm) Wallace, daughter Becky Wallace Krause of Blacklick; stepchildren Monica (Jeremy) Bell of Circleville, Frank and Kelly Peters of Adelphia; grandchildren Craig (Patricia) Krause and Stacie Krause, Matthew (Heather) Walls and Cassy (Dennis) Cousins; step granddaughter Kerstyn Bell and numerous great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103.  Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, 2017 at Crossroads Church, 5679 Tarlton Rd. Circleville, OH with Pastor Tim Throckmorton officiating.  Interment will follow at Harrison Twp. Cemetery in South Bloomfield, OH.  Online condolences at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
