Agnes J. (Jester) Schroeder

Agnes J. Schroeder, age 89, of South Bloomfield, Ohio passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at The Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio. She was born January 1, 1936, in Pickaway County, Ohio to the late William and Izel (Jolly) Jester. She loved tending her flower garden, where she spent countless hours enjoying its beauty.

In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Robert J. “Bob” Schroeder, and brother Harold Jester.

She is survived by her sister Norma Jean Jester of Circleville, Ohio; nephew Robert (Sheryl) Jester of Larue, Ohio; dear friends Irma Lewis of Circleville, Ohio, Elana Mettler of Kingston, Ohio, Nate and Amber Batty, Alyssa and Evan of Chillicothe, Ohio, Mike and Christy Lowry of South Bloomfield, Ohio, Carissa and Meagan Lowry of Ashville, Ohio.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio 43103 with Pastor William Maniaci offering words of comfort. Interment will follow in Harrison Twp. Cemetery, South Bloomfield, Ohio.
