Alan (Big Al) L. Fields

Alan (Big Al) L. Fields, 61 of Circleville, OH passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.  He was born on July 11, 1956 to the late Ralph and Betty (Heffen) Fields.  Big Al was a  graduate of Teays Valley and loved horses and horse racing working as a Groomsman and also as a Dry Waller who perfected his work.

Along with parents, he is preceded in death by Bo Dylan Sturgell, Little Jack, Baby Cheadle, father-in-law Billy Jack Middleton and Dink Aldenderfer.

He is survived by wife Anita (Middleton) Fields; children Rusty Fields and Cheryl Fields; sister Connie (Donnie) Cheadle; several close friends, Dean Davis, Jimmy Miller, Tim Logan, Tom Fout, Jimmy Foreman, Stoney, Darrell Terry; nieces and nephews and many unbiological children that he loved as his own.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Funeral Service on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home  and Interment to follow at Harrison Twp.
