Barbara (Bobbi) A. (Hickman) Ford

Barbara A. (Bobbi) Ford, age 73, of Ashville, passed away at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016. Bobbi was graduate of Ashville Harrison High School and attended George Washington University.  She was an active member in her church and taught Sunday School for over 42 years.   Bobbi retired after over 30 years working at DCSC.  Bobbi lived for and loved her children and grandchildren and truly treasured and enjoyed taking care of them.

Bobbi was preceded in death by many loved ones including her parents, Clyde O. and Alyce A. (Jinkens) Hickman; husband, Robert L. Ford; a son, Larry Michael Adkins; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria June and Jim Ward; brother, Bill Hickman;  sister-in-law, Vivian Hickman; nephews, Jerry Ward and Tim Hickman and great granddaughter, Aubree Brady.

Bobbi is survived by daughters Missy Adkins of South Bloomfield, Angela (John) Davoll of Hilliard and son Robert (Yvette Hoff) Ford Jr. of Pickerington; a brother, Paul Hickman; sister-in-law, Nancy Hickman; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Chelsie) Brady, Alycian Adkins, Abigail Davoll, Jonathan Davoll, Dylan Ford, Elise Ford, Boston Cole,  and great granddaughter Amberlee Brady; stepchildren, Michael Ford, Cindy (Gary) Warner, Terri Ford and Charlie Ford, special friends, Shelby Tucker, Betty Stickel and Bill Carl along with numerous nieces and nephews and step grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wed. Dec. 28, 2016 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with funeral service on Thurs. Dec. 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Jim Gregg officiating and interment following at Harrison Township Cemetery in South Bloomfield, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobbi’s memory may be made to:  Teays Valley Educational Foundation, P.O.
