CUMMINS

Barbara Jane Cummins, 88 of Ashville, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015.  She was born Aug. 30, 1927 at Crestline, Ohio, daughter of the late Gordan and Bonita (Likens) Jenkins.  She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Richard and son, Steven.  Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Roger Craven, Grove City; daughter-in-law, Jill Cummins; 4 grandchildren, Barry (Sheena), Brandi, Evan, and Caitlin; 3 great grandchildren.

Barbara was a registered nurse for over 50 yrs. and spent many years working at Berger Hospital.  She was an officer and secretary-treasurer of Cummins Electric for many years.  Member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Lockbourne, DAR, and American Legion, Ashville.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at the Harrison Twp. Cemetery, South Bloomfield, Ohio.  Pastor Jeffrey Wise and Pastor Larry Baker will officiate.  In lieu of flowers the family request contributions in Barbara’s memory be made to Berger Hospice, 1280 North Court St., Circleville, Ohio  43113.
