Betty E. (Downing) Speakman

Betty E. Speakman, 94 of Canal Winchester, OH passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Carroll Place in Carroll, OH.  Betty was born on March 31, 1930 to the late Pearl and Ida Mae (Hunt) Downing in Williamsport, OH.  She was a 1949 graduate of Williamsport High School and worked in assembly at AT&T in Columbus, OH.  She was a member of Lithopolis United Methodist Church and was a very proud grandma and great grandma.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Paul Speakman (2021); son Jeff Speakman; several siblings.

Betty is survived by son Brad (Barbara) Speakman; grandchildren Wes (Kate) Speakman, Ryan (Ashley) Speakman and Ashley (Tommy) Springer; 7 great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18th at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville, OH with Rev.
