Beulah Hazel (Neil) Brown

Beulah Hazel (Boots) Brown age 83 passed away peacefully on March 2, 2016 after a long illness. Her special niece Terry Roese was at her side. Boots was a resident of Brown Memorial Home in Circleville, Ohio. She was born January 28, 1933 to the late Ray and Virgie (Skaggs) Neil in Nicholas, Co. West Virginia. Beulah was retired from the W. VA. ABC Commission where she worked as an inventory clerk. She attended Fairview Baptist Church in Lockwood, WV.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Percy Clyde Brown in 2009, her parents, Ray and Virgie (Skaggs) Neil and siblings Virginia(Charles) Keenan, Rufus(Evelyn) Neil, Omar(Laura) Neil and Onor(James) Harford. She is survived by nieces Carolyn (Joseph) Burton of Orlando, FL and Terry (Bruce) Roese of Ashville, OH; nephews Joe B. (Esther) Harford of Maryland, James Keenan of Fayetteville, WV, and Michael (Melodie) Harford of Morehead KY; David Neil of Illinois, Gary and Mark Neil of Tennessee; numerous other nieces and nephews, cousins and great nieces and great nephews.
The family would like to thank Brown Memorial Home and Berger Hospice for the excellent care they provided for Beulah. At Boots’ request, she is being cremated and her ashes and those of her husband will be interred together in the spring. There will be a graveside service.
