Brenda Marie (Bollinger) Ward

Brenda Marie Ward, 70 of South Bloomfield, OH passed away surrounded by her family and friends at home on Monday, December 30, 2024.  She was born on June 1, 1954 to the late William R. and Patricia Ann (Young) Bollinger in Columbus, OH.  Brenda was a 1972 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School.  She was of deep Catholic faith and prayed her rosary each morning.  She was affectionately called “Mema” and loved her family immensely.  Brenda loved listening to The Eagles music, enjoyed flowers and crafting, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Besides her parents, Brenda was also preceded by infants’ brother and sister; brothers-in-law Cecil, Paul, Wayne and Herman; father-in-law and mother-in-law Earl and Ruby Ward.

She is survived by husband of 51 years Carroll R. Ward; daughter Stacy Marie and husband Mark Salmons; grandchildren Ryan Salmons, Tyler Salmons and Shelby and husband Michael Sidwell; great grandchildren Iva and Vivian Dayle (on the way); brother William Bollinger III; Tennessee sisters Joann ( Ronald) Ward, Judy Ward and Pat Ward; best friends Diana and Gary Gool; close friends Chad and Megan Locke, Brenda Locke.

Visitation with Family will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W.
