On May 22, 2026, at 8:56 PM, Brittany Corbitt went to be with the Lord. Through her unwavering faith, we know she is now in her forever home, a place as Heaven was meant to be: free from pain and suffering, filled with peace, joy, and laughter. She is rejoicing with the angels, glorifying God, singing her heart out, and running once again on streets of gold.
Brittany was born on January 13, 1988 to Jeffrey and Diane (McEnerney) Beitel in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and went on to become a Trauma Nurse at Grant Medical Center where she was a beloved member of the TICU family.
If Brittany wanted one thing, it was for others to know the incredible faith she placed in God throughout her journey and how deeply He carried her through it all.
As the days ahead unfold, there will be tears, laughter from the memories and stories shared with her, anger toward cancer itself, and moments of disbelief.
Above all, we ask that you continue to surround our children and family in prayer. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and complete stranger!
Brittany was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Beitel.
She is survived by her soulmate of over 10 years, Benjamin Corbitt; children, Case and Indy; mother, Diane Beitel; sisters, Shannon Beitel and Stephanie (Max) Carroll, children Jaxson and Ellie Carroll; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Philip and Pamela Corbitt; sister-in-law Rebecca (Travis) Burleson, children Blaine, Brinley, and Liberty Burleson; Papa and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Special thanks to the many doctors, nurses, the infusion team, and all the medical support personnel who contributed to Brittany's care over the years.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us through the years and helped us create the very best memories together, and to those who continue to stand beside us now. Your love, prayers, and support have been such a blessing to our family.
From the entire Corbitt and Beitel family, we love and appreciate each and every one of you.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 2pm until 6pm at The Naz Church, 4770 Hoover Rd, Grove City, OH 43123. A celebration of life service will immediately follow. At Brittany's request please wear Hawaiian attire or brightly colored or cheerful clothing.
In lieu of flowers, a link will be available shortly for an education fund for the children.
