Carl Patrick White

Carl Patrick White, aged 72, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, at the home of his daughter Heather and surrounded in love. Carl was born on July 13, 1953, to Thomas and Bobbi (Harper) White in Columbus, Ohio. Carl spent many years at Columbus Coal & Lime before retiring to become the primary caretaker for his beloved wife of almost 40 years.

Besides his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his wife Janie Diane Reynolds; son Patrick White; and sister Barbara Johnson.

Carl was a loving father to many, not just his own and is survived by his children Douglas (Melinda) White of Columbia, South Carolina; David (Patricia) Owens 0f Columbus, Ohio; Hiede Krueger of Salt Lick, Kentucky; Heather Teegarden (Matthew Dalton) of Ashville, Ohio; Kevin Reynolds of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; Alexandra White of Portsmouth, Ohio; daughter-in-law Debra White of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; thirty- one grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and two nephews. Carl was a father figure to many including special friends he considered sons, Hughie Boggs of Cass City Michigan and Dave Stevens of Sandy Hook Kentucky. As well as many brothers and sisters-in-law.

Carl was a dedicated man of faith and spent many years playing guitar and singing for his Brothers and Sisters in Christ at the Middlefork Church of God in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.

In memory of Carl, the family wishes to thank William and Samantha Davis and Kayla Hicks all of Ashville, Ohio for the support and love during this time. A special thank you to the Harrison Township and Jackson Township Fire Departments for the overwhelming support they provided to the family.
