Carol Ann (Hunt) Ison

Carol Ann Ison, age 79 of South Bloomfield, Ohio passed away on Friday August 23, 2024 at her residence.  Carol was born July 17, 1945 to the late Walter and Elsie (Christy) Hunt in Columbus, Ohio.

Carol was a graduate of Marion-Franklin High School, class of 1963.

She enjoyed going to the casino.  Carol always looked forward to gathering with her high school friends for lunch and great conversations.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bobby) in 2017 having shared life together for 53 years.

Carol is survived by her son Steve (Angela) Ison; grandchildren Steven Cole and Tyler Jacob; step grandson Andrew Ernest Bruning; sisters Patti (William) Walton, Kay Bradley and Judy (Norman) Brown; nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 28th at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 West Main St. Ashville, Ohio 43103 where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29th with Pastor Floyd Hubbell officiating.  Burial will follow in Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville, Ohio.
