Carolyn Lee (Ray) Duncan

July 19, 1943 — September 11, 2017

Listen to Obituary

On Monday, September 11th, 2017, Carolyn Lee (Ray) Duncan was reunited with her beloved husband, Douglas Allen Duncan.  They were married for 30 years before he passed in 1995.  Carol was born in Columbus, OH on July 19, 1943.   She was a 1964 graduate of Teays Valley High School.

She will also rejoice in heaven with her mother, Myrtle Ellen, first best friend and sister Joyce Ann, little sister Susan Elizabeth and younger brother Verm.

Carol leaves behind her pride and joy; her three children, Ronda (JR) Davis of Mount Sterling, OH, Mark (Christine) Duncan of Carroll, OH and Brian (Melissa) Duncan of Scott Depot, WV.

Carol was the best mom in the world.  She always put her kids and family first.  As much as she loved her children, she chersihed her eight grandchildren; Erica and Anthony, Megan, Robbie, Aiden and Kyler, Matthew and Michael.  Also left to mourn her legacy is the sunshine of her later days, great-grandson Carson James.

Carol also leaves behind a host of family and friends that will greatly miss her sense of humor, exceptional work ethic, love of country music and her fiery spirit.

Special thanks to her sister, Cathy Jane for making her days a little brighter.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thurs. Sept.14, 2017 at Forest Cemetery, Circleville, OH with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wed. Sept. 13, 2017 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103. Online condolences at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
