Carolyn S Tussing

Carolyn S. Tussing left for her heavenly home on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Logan Elm Health Care. Carolyn was the second daughter of the late Orville and Marcella (Mondhank) Cofman, she was born on April 10, 1941, in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Lois Elliott and brother Larry Cofman.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Paul Tussing; son Mark (Heather) Tussing of Bradenton, FL, step daughters, Paula (Bryce) Leachman of Naples, FL and Tammie (Bill) Johnson of West Lake, OH; special twin nephews raised as sons, Rodney Campbell of Mt. Sterling, OH and Roger Campbell of Latrobe, PA; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carolyn was a devoted housewife and after the children were teenagers then she went back to ABLE classes to obtain her GED. Being so impressed with the process, she accepted a job with ABLE in Pickaway County helping other adults to get there GED’s, a job she loved.

Carolyn was also a master at jigsaw puzzles; she could work one faster than Paul could buy them. She was a longtime member of Village Chapel Church of Ashville.

Per Carolyn’s request A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Village Chapel Church 30 Viking Way, Ashville with Pastor Kevin Pees officiating on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service. Many thanks to the caregivers at Logan Elm and Capital City Hospice for the care given to Carolyn and to Pastor Pees and her church family for their prayers and support through Carolyn’s journey.
