Cathy Weaver

Cathy Weaver, age 66 of Lockbourne, OH passed away, peacefully in her sleep,  Monday, Jan. 2, 2017.  Cathy was born May 7, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio.

Cathy was a graduate Hamilton Township Class of 1968 and retired from JC Penney after 30 plus years.  Cathy was an active member of Lockbourne Church of Christ in Christian Union.  Cathy was an overachiever when it came to helping  others.  She genuinely enjoyed caring for those in need; working with church food pantries and taking flowers to nursing homes.  She could often be seen delivering food to friends and neighbors around Lockbourne and Ashville.

Cathy was preceded by son, Jack A. Weaver and parents Wm. D. and Patricia A. (Schafer) Kocher.

Cathy is survived by a daughter, Dawn R. (Anson) Cheadle of Lockbourne; grandchildren, Savannah K. Anderson, Haley G. and Nina F. Cheadle of Lockbourne along with many special friends and beloved dogs Rocko and Gidget.

Family will receive friends Thurs. Jan 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Lockbourne Church of Christ in Christian Union, 156 Mechanics St. Lockbourne, OH 43137 with funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron Goodling officiating and Interment at Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
