Charles "Popeye" E Ford

Charles E “Popeye” Ford, age 87, of Circleville, passed away November 10, 2016, at OSU Medical Center, Columbus. He was born November 4, 1929 in Circleville, to the late James and Audrey (Francis) Ford. Popeye worked for many years for VanCamp Asphalt and Paving.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife Edna M (Stevens) Ford (2000), sons; James Ford and Randy Ford, daughters; Audrey Myers and Karen A “Nancy” Rayburn, brothers; James W Ford, Clyde “Robert” Ford, and Thomas “Tink” Ford, sisters; Ruth J “Pooch” Haddox, Lucille “Peewee” Stephens, and Ruby F Little.
He is survived by sons; Charles E (Nancy) Ford Jr. (Circleville) and Terry L Ford (Circleville), daughters; Vivian M (Dick) Myers (Chillicothe) and Linda S Ford (Circleville), as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00-3:00pm at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio 43103. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home.
