Christine Clemmons

Christine L. Clemmons, age 69, of Ashville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2026, with family by her side. She was born on May 21, 1957, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Jennings P. and Ruth E. Skaggs Leeson. Christine was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Most of her life she dealt with health issues but that never stopped her heart from beating for the ones he loved. Her whole life she put herself last so the ones she loved would be okay. She was selfless & deserves all the praise for overcoming every terrible act of pain cast upon her, only to spread love and joy to the ones around her. A true example of how you can endure unspeakable trauma and remain a loving, faithful Child of the Lord. We Love You Mommy.

She leaves behind her spouse of 40 years, Gary Jones; son, Jared Page; daughter, Rebecca (Aaron) Howell; son, Kurt Clemmons; grandchildren, Jessica Howell and Nathan (Pauline) Howell; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, Karrie and Chelsie Keller; nephew, Larry Leeson; her dog, Abby; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Teresa and Beverly Leeson; and nieces, Tina Page and Chasity Brown.

A visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 13 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. followed by a time of sharing led by the family at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville.
