Christopher Stephen Herboltzheimer "Herb"

Christopher Stephen Herboltzheimer “Herb”, born July 1, 1960, at the age of 62 passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, August 1, 2022.  He was a graduate of Wehrle High School.  He was an avid car enthusiast and owned a number of street rods, classic and muscle cars, as well as several motorcycles over the years. In his earlier years, he was a carpenter at Amtekco and was also the owner of Herb’s Hot Rods.

Chris is survived by wife Melody Lynn (Robinson); children Matthew Herboltzheimer, Chris and Stephanie Wimbish, Melissa Herboltzheimer, Kristin and Tom Cook, Danielle and Shane McGlone; parents Russell and Joyce (Wolford) Herboltzheimer; brother Jeff Herboltzheimer; sister Cindy Kovatch; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

Chris’s best times were with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends who he loved and adored.

Per Herb’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 13th at 4 p.m. at Lighthouse Community Christian Church, SR 104, Ashville 43103 with Pastor P.J. Rings. Online condolences at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
