Christopher James Runkle

Christopher James Runkle age 31 of Canal Winchester,  passed away on Nov. 1, 2017 at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville. Chris was a graduate of Teays Valley, Class of 2004 and was member of Prominent Rendition show choir from 2000-2003.  He had  attended Otterbein College, and was an Eagle Scout.  Survived by parents Michael and Cindy (Jones) Runkle; sisters Tina Gunn of Canal Winchester and Heather (Albert)  Havranek Fresno, OH; brothers Michael Runkle Jr. of Hilliard and Nicholas Runkle of Seal Beach, CA; nieces Millia, Maya, and Marlie; nephews Tyler, Dustin, Albert and Elliot; aunts, uncles  and many friends.  Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wed. Nov. 8, 2017 at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville. Service in Memory Thurs. Nov. 9th   at 11:00 a.m. at Village Chapel Church, 30 Viking  Way, Ashville with Pastor Kevin Pees officiating.  Family request in lieu of flowers contributions should be made to: Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home and will be given to a Drug Rehabilition Program in Fairfield County.
