Clark "Mouse" Newton Bailey III

Clark “Mouse” Newton Bailey III, age 64, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. Clark was born on July 12, 1961, in Columbus, OH to late Clark N. Bailey Jr. and Leona (Shirkey). Clark loved his children and grandchildren deeply. They were his purpose for living. They loved him more than anything. Clark attended Hamilton Twp. High School as a part of the Class of 1979. On December 4, 1994 he married Novella S. Ward. Clark truly enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles and making memories with his grandchildren. Clark was a hardworking man. He was the owner of Bailey’s Carpet. He was respected and loved by many.

In addition to his wife, Novella (Ward) Bailey, he is survived by his beloved children, Holly (Jimmy) Tabor of Columbus, Justin and Jeremy Bailey of Groveport, Shyla (Brandon) Combs of Columbus; Grandchildren, Lydia Tuttle, Zayne Bailey and Hudson Maxwell; Siblings, Leona (Robert) Romine of Columbus, James (Vesta) Bailey of Williamsport and Eileen (Roy) Thacker of Sunbury; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Oliver Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 22 at 11:00 am at Oliver Cheek Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Goodling officiating.
