Claude L (Vern) Baugher

Claude L Baugher (Vern), age 85, passed away at home April 1, 2016.  Born to the late Claude O and Beatrice (Endarffer) Baugher Aug 25, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan.  Beloved husband of Carol S. (Montoney) who survives and father of Mark (Lisa) Baugher, Claudia (Gary) Myers, Randall (Karin) Baugher, Paul (Laura) Baugher, and Vicki Baugher.  Step-children, Linda (Gary) Drolet, Scott (Laura) Bowman, Wayne (Tina) Bowman, Victor (Heather) Bowman, Julia (Todd) Derry, and Beverly Vaughn.  Also survived by 24 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, brother Eugene (Patricia), sister Ruth Herrick, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Vern was a proud Army Veteran (1949-1952), a graduate of the University of Michigan, and retired engineer from Tooling and Equipment International of Livonia, Michigan.  Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held Sat, April 9, 2016 at 3:30pm at Logan Elm Baptist Church, 22530 Bolender Pontious Rd, Circleville, Ohio.  Family will receive friends 2:30-3:30pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Berger Hospice 1170 N Court St. Ste B Circleville, OH 43113 or Logan Elm Baptist Church.  Arrangements made by Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville.  Online guestbook at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
