Clovis R. Parsons

Clovis R. Parsons, age 87 of Ashville, Ohio passed away on Thurs. June 29, 2017 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. Clovis was born on April 6, 1930 to the late Henry and Esther (Mills) Parsons in Chesterhill, Ohio. Clovis served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and was a Firefighter at Rickenbacker Air Force Base.
Clovis is preceded in death by wife Amy (Taskar) Parsons in 2005; brothers Russell, Gail, Wilber, Bernard and Doug; a sister Marie Abel.
Surviving are sons Thomas of Ashville and Robert (Jackie) Parsons of Sidney, Ohio; grandson Justin (Jennifer) Parsons; great granddaughters Lucy and Eliza Parsons; brothers Conrad, Howard and Gene Parsons; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Frank Waters officiating at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W.
