David L. Herren

David L. Herren, age 66, of South Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016.  He was born November 6, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Amos L. and Frances A. (Forsythe) Herren. He was a graduate of Ohio Dominican University.  David was a retired truck driver for J B Hunt.  He was preceded in death by sisters Janice Carolyn Buck and Barbara Ann Harkness.  He is survived by brother, Donald Herren of Florida; brother-in-law John Buck, niece, Teresa (Steven) Mills of Columbus and nephew Ronald Harkness of Ashville, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service  will be held to share memories at  2:00  PM on Friday, July 29, 2016, at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 West Main Street, Ashville, Ohio. Immediately after the service friends and family are invited for a gathering at the Rick Brown, VFW  Post 7941 at 3301 Northup Ave. So. Bloomfield.
