David J. Scholl

David J. Scholl, 60, of South Bloomfield, OH passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at OSU Ross Heart Hospital.  He was born on January 20, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Muriel C. and Margaret L. (Weese) Scholl.  David was a 19-year employee of the Columbus Dispatch and retired after 18 years from Nickles Bakery as a branch manager.  He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and the OSU Buckeyes.

David is survived by sons Michael (Stephanie) of Plymouth, MN, and Matthew (Heather) of Ashville; daughter Makayla (William) Scholl of South Bloomfield; grandchildren Nicholas, Meredith, Gage, Bailey, Garrett, Maddox, and Savannah; brothers Chuck (Rhonda) Scholl of Amanda, Mike Scholl of South Bloomfield; sister Becky (Brian) Schooley of Williamsport; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Danny, Tony, Tommy, Scott, and Steve.

Family will receive friends on Friday, May 10th, 2024, from 3 p.m. until a Celebration of Life service at 7 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103.
