David E Young

David E. Young, age 69, passed away on February 10, 2026. He was born on December 27, 1956.

David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kimberly Young, with whom he shared a deep and lasting love.  

He leaves behind his three sons, Michael (Tiffany), Chris (Kylea), and DJ (Shelley) Young. He was also a devoted and loving grandfather to Hunter (Rebekah), Aiden, Brooklyn, Willow, David, Joey, Jessica and Meghan each of whom held a very special place in his heart and who were the pride of his life. David’s happiest moments were spent at the race track. Whether it was quarter midgets, sprint cars, or super modifieds, racing was more than a hobby—it was a passion.  Above all, he was the biggest fan of his grandsons, cheering them on with pride and unwavering support from the stands. David will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for family, his enthusiasm for racing, and his presence will live on in the many lives he touched.
