Deborah  Sue   Nungester 67 of Orient and formerly of Ashville, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018,  surrounded by family and love at  Mt. Carmel West, Columbus.   She was born June 30, 1950 in Columbus  to the late Ernest and Verda M. (Darrow)  Nungester.  Deb retired from Techneglas in Columbus after 35 years and was a graduate of Teays Valley School in 1968.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her poodles, Gidget, Mindy, and Elmo, and best friend Mary Jane Lemaster.  Survived by her daughter, Julie Damron; grad-dogs, Marley, Rudy, and Falcon; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  She was proud to be called Mama D by many of her daughter’s friends.  She loved game nights and  going on road trips with her daughter and cousins Tammy West and Sarah Tower and Brentley, as well as spending Holidays with her favorite cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wed. from 4- 8p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with a Funeral Service on Thurs. May 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. , Pastor Richard Smith will officiate.  Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, So. Bloomfield.
