DeJon (known as Aunt Dee) Hart Mobley, 83 of South Bloomfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at OhioHealth Berger Hospital in Circleville. She was born October 28, 1942, in Marion, Ohio to Oda E. Hart and Rita E. (Jenner) Hart. Aunt Dee went to college and obtained her teaching degree and taught Science till she retired. Her knowledge in Science was a blessing especially when we had projects or questions in Science we could call Aunt Dee. After retiring as a full-time teacher , she was a substitute teacher at Teays Valley Middle School from the 1980s through the 1990s.

DeJon was preceded in death by the love of her life, Starling C. Mobley, married for 39 years; her parents, Oda E. Hart and Rita E. Jenner; her sister Marilyn K. Gibson and her brother-in-law John R. Gibson.

Surviving is her stepdaughter, Robin Mobley (Joel Brown); niece, Tonda A. Yates; nephew, Cody J. Gibson (Nancy) and niece, Trinda R. Huffman (Jeff); two great-nieces – Amanda Dillard and Madelyn Huffman Bisel (Mitchell); three great-nephews – Justin Gibson (Melissa), Brandon Hartman and Ryan Gibson (Britney); two great-great nieces – Emma Dillard and Cassie Gibson and six great-great nephews Nathan Dillard, Colton Dillard, Gavin Gibson, Brantley Hartman, Brody Gibson and Oakley Gibson.

Much love and appreciation is given to the congregation of the Circleville Church of Christ who provided endless services to Aunt Dee for the past many years and her neighbors, The Sabzars who were there when Aunt Dee needed anything.

A Life Tribute will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St, Ashville, Ohio 43103. Pastor Dean Manning will officiate.
