Delta C Batten

Delta C. Batten, 73, of Canal Winchester, OH, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 2, 2025. She was born on July 30, 1952, in Gallipolis, OH, to Paul and G. Kathern (Shupe) Casto. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.

For the past 11 years, Delta worked for the Groveport Madison School District. Earlier in life, she earned her State of Ohio Beautician License, which she proudly held for 50 years. Alongside her husband, she also devoted 40 years of her life to faithful ministry in the Greater Cleveland area with the Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phil Batten; her mother, G. Kathern Casto; and her sister, Paula Kennedy.

Delta will be deeply missed by her sons, Andy and Jamey Batten; her father, Paul Casto; her sisters, Nancy (Steve) Miller and Penny (Denny) Berger; her brother, Willard (Judy) Casto; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In accordance with Delta’s wishes, a Celebration of Life service will be held in November at Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Further details will be shared at a later date.
