Dennis Brian Green

Dennis Brian Green, age 68, of Orient, passed away November 20, 2016, at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center (Veterans Homeland).  He was born February 23, 1948 in Columbus, to the late Paul and Marjorie (Hill) Green.  He served his country during Vietnam War in the Army (1st Cavalry) where he was awarded a Purple Heart.  Dennis worked as a lifelong farmer in Pickaway County.

He is survived by his wife Melody (Melvin) Green, daughter, Racquel (Chad) Black of Ashville, son, Jason (Alexis) Green of Ashville, sisters; Susie (Ed) Leviker of Colorado, Marsha Green of Pennsylvania, Cecelia (Rodney) Geer of Orient, grandchildren; Emma, Ellie, and Ethan Black and William and Alivia Green, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, special friends Diane Felz and Alec Felz.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00-8:00pm at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio 43103.  Funeral Service Saturday, November 26 at 10:00am at the funeral home, Dr. Doyne Wiggins officiating.  Burial will take place at Muhlenberg Township Cemetery in Darbyville.  The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to your favorite charity or church.
