Dolores Ann (Roese) Messick

Dolores Ann Messick, 90 of Ashville, OH passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Story Point Nursing Home in Grove City, OH.  She was born on May 18, 1934 to the late Chester and Erma (Haynes) Roese in South Bloomfield, OH.  Dolores was a 1952 graduate of Ashville-Harrison High School and worked for the State of Ohio in Worker’s Comp. Dept.  She attended South Bloomfield Methodist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Harold and Stanley Roese; sisters Ruby Teets, Norma Kraft and Clara Gregg.

Dolores is survived by her husband of 70 years, Charles E. Messick: son Mark (Kathy) Messick; grandsons Eric, John (Jessica) and Dillon Messick; great grandchildren Charlie and Amelia, Olivia and Blake: numerous nieces and nephews; many friends.

Visitation with family will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Funeral Service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 12th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W.
