Donald G Hill

Donald G. Hill of Ashville passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at his home. He was born in Clarksburg, WV on August 7, 1948 to the late Ruth (Deloe) Reger and George Sutton. Donald served his country in the Armed Forces, entering in the Navy and ending in the Army. He retired from Old Dominion Freight Lines in Obetz after 15 years. He attended New Beginnings Church and also had attended Lighthouse Community Church.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sandra (Boggs) Hill; daughters April (Wesley) Knight, and Crystal (Gary) Turner; goddaughter, Tammy (Kevin) Moriarty; step-daughter, Melissa Blake; grandchildren, Courtney, Darin, and Addison Knight, Mitchell and Andy Moriarty, Anthony Turner, and Shawn, Cory, Kristy, and Leah Blake, and sister Sandra Hill.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10th from 5-8pm at Oliver Cheek Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 11th at 11:00am, officiated by Pastor David Bowens. Burial will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery. Online condolences to olivercheekfuneralhome.com
