Donna J. (Mcnabb) Blanton

Donna J. Blanton, age 82, of Ringgold, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 at home.   She was born Oct. 28, 1935 in Fairfield County to the late Fred and Eva (Johnson) McNabb.  Donna grew up in the Amanda area and was a graduate of Amanda H.S. Class of 1953.  She had worked for RCA and Wynn Molded Plastics for a number of years.  She attended First Baptist Church of Ashville and was a member of the Emanuel Christian Kitchen Band.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Everett in 2016; siblings, Audrey, Dallas, Eleanora, and Jean.

Survivors include brother Ray (Mary) McNabb; daughter, Vivian (Michael) Smith of So. Bloomingville; sons, Lowell (Joyce) Blanton of Ashville, Donald (Bruce Hutflies) Blanton of Columbus and Howard Blanton of Ringgold; grandchildren, Ashley (Craig) Puckett, Mike (Rachael) Smith, Bryan (Sarah) Blanton, Michele (Jake) Stollard, Travis (Michelle) Blanton, Sarah (Ralph) Criswell, and Megan Blanton; several great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wed. Oct. 3, 2018, at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.  Interment will follow in Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville.  Friends may call on Tues. today from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service.   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to:  Pickaway Senior Center (Meals on Wheels), 2015 Chickasaw Drive, Circleville, OH 43113 or Berger Hospice, 1170 No. Court St. Circleville, OH 43113.
