Donsell A (Booth) Shaffer

Donsell  A. (Booth)  Shaffer 62 of Ashville, passed away on Friday, Feb. 17th, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Grove City. Born on March 8th, 1954 in Circleville.   She was a graduate of Teays Valley H.S. also had worked for a number of years at the Ashville Citgo and The Gap Distribution in Columbus.   Survived by her  parents Ernest (Carletta) Booth of Ashville and Barbara (James) Haywood of Columbus; children,  Shane (Amanda) Crosby of Ashville, R.J. (Nici) Crosby of Marysville, and Crystal Crosby (Shawn Reber) of Ashville; special companion, Kenny Shaffer; grandchildren Sarah, Anthony, Ashton, Alexis, Jakob, Jarrett, Reagan, Caden, Jerzy, Dillon, and Colton;  brothers and sister, Judy Shover, Ernest Jr. (Mary-Louise) Booth, Brenda (Gordon) Ward, Roger (Ellen) Booth, Georgia Hughes (Jerry), Peggy (Tim) Burns, Francie (Brad) Craiglow, Gloria Ellyson, Billy Booth (Larry Stone), Cheryle Kiser, Audrey (Ike) Frye, Brad (Judy) Kearns; special niece Angela; special friends Bill (Kathy) Miracle; and her beloved dog Jax.  The family will receive friends  on  Tues. from 2-4 and 6-8pm. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio where a  Funeral Service will be held at   11:00 a.m. Wed. Feb. 22, 2017 with Rev. Gordon Ward officiating . Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery.   The family request in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home for expenses.
