Doris Jean (Morrison) Jenkins

Doris  Jean  Jenkins, 81 of Ashville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017 at Circleville Care and Rehabilition.  She was born Nov. 3, 1935 in Columbus to the late Ralph and Bernice (DeVors) Morrison.  Doris was a 1953 graduate of Ashville High School and retired from Grange Mutual Insurance. Preceded in death by her husband James Jenkins in 1982; her parents and step father, William “Tick” Pettibone; brother Robert Morrison; sister Dixie Bartholomew.

Survived by sons, James (Christy) Jenkins and Jeff (Jeanne) Jenkins; daughters, Joni (Marc) Williamson and Julie (Tim)

Noble; grandchildren, Jason Jenkins, Jon (Kim) Jenkins, Ben Noble(Jess), Adam Noble (Kate), Sara (Buck) Jacobs, and Jaimee Jenkins; great grandchildren, Falon, JT, and Savanah; brother-in-law, Bob Bartholomew; friend Deborah Jenkins; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service  11:00 a.m. Thurs. Aug. 17, 2017 at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home 420 W. Main St. Ashville with Chaplain Dean Queen officiating. Interment will follow in Harrsion Township Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wed. from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
