Dorothy Estella (Dickinson) Gentilini, 81 of Ashville, left this earth to join her beloved husband, David and other family on Sunday, October 13, 2024. She was born on August 29, 1943 in Bend, Oregon to the late Hershel Andrew Dickinson and Dorothy (Davis) Dickinson.
Dorothy is survived by her son David (Angel), brother-in-law Joe (Leo), sister-in-law Anne, nieces Susan (Chris) and Sarah (Clay) and most especially the numerous friends of many years.
Dorothy was a graduate of Ashville High School and earned a B.S., B.A., and M.A. from The Ohio State University. She worked in education for over 40 years working as the Dean of Women at Capital University and teaching at Grove City High School and Brookpark Middle School where one of her greatest pleasures was seeing the light in the eyes of a student who suddenly understood.
