Douglas E Clem

Douglas E.  Clem 65 of Ashville, OH passed away Wed. Sept. 9, 2015 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital Columbus. He was born on Dec. 13, 1949 in Logansport, Indiana to the late Gerald F.  and Wanda M. (Nogle)  Clem.

He retired from Wasserstrom in Columbus after 30 plus years. Doug enjoyed remodeling and building as well as woodworking.  He was a graduate of Lewis Cass High School in Indiana and was a former member of the Ashville Community Men’s Club.  Preceded in death by parents and brother Gerald.  He is survived by his children Casey (Cheri) Clem and Jeremy Clem all of Delaware, OH; daughters Courtney (Beau) Ramey of Ashville and Taran Clem of Columbus; grandchildren Colton, Lennon, Shaelynn, Aniah, and Neleah.  Family will receive friends on Sunday Sept. 13th from 3:00 -6:00 pm at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio with a Celebration of Life Service following at 7:00 p.m.  Graveside Service at McNeeley Cemetery in Cass County, Indiana at 1:00 p.m. on Monday Sept. 14, 2015.  Family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Center for Childhood Cancer 700 Children’s Dr. Columbus, OH 43205 or Zangmeister Center 3100 Plaza Properties Blvd Columbus, OH 43219, or a charity of your choice.
