Dwight A Karshner Sr., age 55, of Ashville, passed away November 15, 2016, at Berger Hostpital, Circleville. He was born January 2, 1961 in Circleville, to the late Durwin Karshner and Marilyn (Aldenderfer) Bickers who survives. Dwight worked for Bailey’s Roofing in Columbus and had worked previously at Odd Lots Warehouse and Dan’s Drive-In. He was a former ordained Baptist Minister, member of the NRA, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the OSU Buckeyes.
Dwight is survived by his mother Marilyn of Ashville, sons; Dwight A Karshner Jr. and Clinton D Karshner of Ashville, daughter Katrina (Gilbert II) Shaffer of Circleville, brother Kelly (Kathy) Karshner of Canal Winchester, sister Dawn Brady of Ashville, Aunt and Uncle Dallas (June) Aldenderfer, grandchildren; Levi, Ethan, Austin, and Skyler Karshner and Gilbert Shaffer III, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, special friends Annette Haddox of Ashville, Jeff Call of Mt. Sterling, and Roger Frazell of Ashville.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00-8:00pm at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio 43103. Memorial Service will follow at 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the family’s convenience at Greenlawn Cemetery in Chillicothe.
