Elizabeth Forbes Alford 91 of Ashville, passed way Wed. Dec. 31, 2014 at her residence. She was born Sept. 5, 1923 in Ireland. During W.W.II while working in England she met her husband, Carl L. Alford who passed away Jan. 6, 1995.
Survived by daughter, Virginia (Ron) Larabee of St. Louis, MO. , Buddy Lee Alford of Buckeye Lake, and Clayton (Penny) Alford of Circleville; daughter-in-law, Karen Alford of Buckeye Lake; grandchildren, Shawn, Angie, Carla, Stephen , Maria, Chad, Ryan, and Nick; several great grandchildren; niece Linda (Bill) Heneghan of NY.; Special friend, Henton Waites of Ashville.
Friends may call on Sunday, from 5-8 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 at the funeral home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
