Elizabeth Ann Henson

Elizabeth Ann Henson 85 of Ashville, passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 at Berger Hospital, Circleville. She was born on April 19, 1929 in Columbus to the late Julius H. and Elizabeth Marie (Ramsey) Erckert. She along with her late husband, Harold were farmers and small business owners. A graduate of South High School, Elizabeth loved to garden and take care of her family. She worked very hard and was one to put everyone else first and never complain. Preceded in death by husband, Harold Raymond Henson; son Hans Evan; 2 sisters, Viola and Martha. She was a wonderful mother to sons, Harold "Champ" (Karen) Henson, Lance Henson, Jules Henson, and Adam Henson all of Ashville; grandchildren, Clayton, Cassidy, Colton, Katie, Ryan, Todd, and Cody; great grandchildren, Keegan Henson, Carter and Cali Good, and Audrey Henson; brother Julius Erckert of Columbus; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Elizabeth's wishes were to have a Graveside Service , which will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thurs. Oct. 2, 2014 in Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne with Chaplain Jim Ferrell. No calling hours will be observed. The family will have a Celebration of Life on Weds. Oct. 1 ^st starting at 6:00 p.m. on the family farm on 4611 Airbase Road, Ashville. The family request in lieu of flowers, Memorials should be made to Berger Hospice 1280 North Court St. Circleville 43113 or a charity of choice.
